I am a wood turner and carver. My natural history interests are particularly in microscopic aquatic animals called rotifers, and I have been doing research on one of them, called Cephalodella forficula. I have been building a 3½" gauge 'Juliet' steam locomotive. I have spent many years living on the Isle of Eigg. You can read about it on the links from the Eigg section of the site.
