At this site there are large numbers of Drosera which appeared at first to be of 4 types:
Spoon-shaped leaves in large numbers.
Somewhat smaller numbers of Drosera rotundifolia.
Smaller, narrower-leaved plants on which the leaves tend to double back on themselves when catching an insect, rather than curl in from the sides.
More recently I found even longer leaved plants, but these are probably more advanced plants of the previous type.
No Drosera species except D. rotundifolia had previously been recorded from this 10km square or from anywhere near this site.
These have now been identified as Drosera anglica and Drosera x obovata (the hybrid between D. anglica and D. rotundifolia).
I would like to thank Alastair Culham for his help in identifying these plants.
