Adder's tongue fern

This small fern grows in our garden (right), which is its only known location in the Dunbartonshire vice-county.

In 2003 I found it in two new locations, one in Stirlingshire and one in West Perthshire.

The two images on the right are of the West Perthshire site near Aberfoyle and were taken on 25th May 2003.

The image below is of the Stirlingshire site on Ben Lomond and was taken on 6th April 2003
