These pages show some of the experiments I have made with html. Early on in our course, Daljit, our teacher, drew the diagram below on a piece of paper, saying that it would be very difficult to reproduce this using rowspan and colspan. Of course I had to rise to the challenge, so here it is.

I was also challenged to try the near-impossible with layers and frames. The "frame game" is so complicated that it does not display in some browsers, so I have added a jpeg version.

A friend wanted to know if it is possible to open images full-size in a maximised window, so I have loaded a demonstration.
